Located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Jackson Rd. Housing is a thoughtfully designed multi-unit residential project prioritizing affordability, dignity, and community. Developed by Peter Braithwaite Studio, the project serves some of the city’s most vulnerable residents, offering not just housing—but a place to feel at home, connect, and thrive.

Centered around a shared courtyard, the building fosters interaction while ensuring privacy and security. Its modular construction approach helps reduce costs while maintaining design integrity, aiming to challenge outdated perceptions of low-income housing through warmth, coherence, and spatial quality.

In these visuals, I focused on bringing out the human and seasonal tone of the project. From overcast skies and soft autumn hues to gentle evening light, the aim was to emphasize the building’s presence in its landscape and its potential to feel like home.
